For a week now I've been doing nonstop cello.
fun fact: yes i do play cello
I've been playing since I was in 3/4 th grade.
Well, for a week now I joined this AWESOME camp named "the national philharmonic string camp" AND ITS AMAZING
But I've had to play 5 hours a day, and then another hour for my audition in the Maryland classical youth orchestra.
Last year when I didn't make it in MCYO my mom got really mad at me and started comparing me to my friends, so this time I want to get it straight and GET IN!!!!!!!
I mostly have stage fright, so do any of you have any suggestions? The only tips I got so far from my string camp were
1. to eat lots of bananas
2. do some big motions in the elevator before entering audition
BUT I STILL GET REALLY DROWSY AND MY HEART BEATS REALLY FAST I DUNNO WHAT TO DO OR ELSE ITS ANOTHER YEAR OF "DOROTHY GOT IN WHY COULDNT YOU GET IN"
I hope all my work pays off...
